About Us
Celebrating our nation's independence since 1911
The Lake Bluff 4th of July Committee is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

The Committee
The Annual Lake Bluff Parade is produced by the all-volunteer Lake Bluff 4th of July Committee.
Planning and running the parade is no small feat and there is always a need for more volunteers. Parade committee members participate in monthly meetings, make decisions about the parade and lend expertise in areas of knowledge or interest.
Committee roles include treasury, finance, sponsorship, information technology, parade content, book production, communications and social media, VIP management and logistics.
Our planning process starts in September and relies on the welcome assistance of fifty additional dedicated volunteers and strong support from the Village Board, Police Department, Public Works as well as our partners.
We hold meetings monthly, but it's not all work and no play. We savor the efforts of our partners at the Firemen's Ball and the Kiwanis Club's Pancake Breakfast.
