About Us

Celebrating our nation's independence since 1911

The Lake Bluff 4th of July Committee is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

The Committee

The Parade is sponsored by the Lake Bluff 4th of July Committee with assistance from American Legion Post 510. The members of the volunteer Board of Directors produce Lake Bluff's communitywide patriotic parade on the 4th of July.

Our planning process starts in September and relies on the welcome assistance of fifty additional dedicated volunteers and strong support from the Village Board, Police Department, Public Works as well as our partners.

We hold meetings monthly, but it's not all work and no play. We savor the efforts of our partners at the Firemen's Ball and the Kiwanis Club's Pancake Breakfast.

Join Us

A handful of director terms on our board expire every year and we have shorter tasks on parade day and at other times of year.

The five Lake Bluff organizations who independently conduct their own community activities but collectively volunteer their talents to the Lake Bluff 4th of July Committee are:
